PitchPoint & Media Marketing are pleased to officially open 2024 submissions for the only award rewarding the business behind the great work of our Belgian marcom agencies.
Who better to speak about the Agency of the Year than the advertisers themselves? "Thanks to AOTY, I was able to get to know new agencies and above all, I discovered best practices that have inspired me as a team leader," says Aurore Devos, head of digital marketing & media coordination Benelux at The Walt Disney Company and member of the AOTY jury in 2023. Her colleague Hendrik Van Steendam, marketing director at Lotus Bakeries, adds, "It is particularly interesting to see what is involved in managing a successful agency, because as an advertiser it is not always clear."
Besides being an award show that rewards agencies as businesses, AOTY is also intended as a platform to connect agencies with their clients. The aim is to give marketers a better understanding of the challenges, constant change, and innovation that agencies face to meet the expectations of their clients and deliver quality work.
This is at least the goal of AOTY's co-organizers, MM and PitchPoint.
Anja De Landsheer states, "At PitchPoint, we know that agencies are made up of talented individuals with strong skills and competencies, who offer effective operating models, intelligent strategies for business development, and a passion for innovation to ensure the relevance and success of both their company and their clients."
For this 2024 edition, we will start from the same basis as last year, when Gold, Silver, and Bronze were awarded in the seven categories from which participants can choose: Agency of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Best Entrepreneurial Agency, Best Specialist, Positive Impact Award, Innovator Agency, and Best Place to Work.
The jury, chaired by Mélanie Decelle (Spadel), consists mainly of advertisers.
The deadline for submissions is February 6, 2024. The winners will be announced on March 28. Read more here.
